Send your teacher anonymous feedback

Tell your teacher what’s not working without your name on it.

Short answer

Write your feedback below and we’ll email it to your teacher from a Doorstop Education address with the subject “Anonymous student reaching out with feedback”. Your name and email are never attached, and we don’t keep a copy.

Write your feedback

Usually on your syllabus, Google Classroom or the school website.

Subject: Anonymous student reaching out with feedback

Added at the end: “This email was sent through Doorstop Education (doorstopeducation.org), a nonprofit that helps students and teachers build trust. The student who wrote it chose to stay anonymous. If you think this tool was misused, reply to this email and our team will look into it.”

Before it sends, an automatic check makes sure the message isn’t aimed at insulting or threatening anyone. We don’t save your message, your name, or your email.

Feedback that actually changes things

  • Be specific. “The last three tests covered things we never practiced” gets a better response than “your tests are unfair.”
  • Suggest a fix. Teachers are more likely to change something when you hand them an idea they can try tomorrow.
  • Keep it about the class, not the person. You can be blunt about what’s not working. Insults and threats won’t send.
